Tasting events are held every Friday from 5pm to 8pm. $10 lets you sample up to 8 wines from a selection of up to 12 featured at the event. Bring a friend and share tastes to try them all! See the calendar below. (Events may vary in structure depending on the assortment of wines)

Events in East Vancouver

AUGUST	All during the month of August we'll be featuring 18 wines ON SALE at OUR COST +10%!
LONG!	NOW EVEN BIGGER! 36 Wines featured this week only! It's a special MONTH LONG promotion with a selection changing weekly, with wines from all over the world at every price level! All wines are taste tested with no closeouts or distributor overstocks. THESE ARE TOP SELLING DELICIOUS WINES at the best prices we EVER offer. It's a great time to stock up and stop in! Aug 22	Shop Favorites, 5-8pm. $10
Friday	8 of our favorite wine finds from our assortment will be showcased. We've searched long and hard for these top notch examples of what we consider the best wines of the season, with wines that our customers have agreed are spectacular! Wines to be featured include the best vintage of Tamarack Cellars Firehouse Red we've encountered, alongside the best Australian 'everyday' Shiraz of the year...Boarding Pass Shiraz 2005 (even better than the original Layer Cake Shiraz! Also try the Klinker Brick Zinfandel, Owen Roe's latest Abbot's Table Red, and several more.

Aug 29-31	COST +10% WEEKEND Friday 5-8pm, $10. Saturday & Sunday 12-5pm, $5. Friday's Special Guest - Jay Turner from Maryhill Wines
Friday	24 different wines featured and on sale at our cost +10%! Taste through 10 wines on Friday and 7 wines each on Saturday and Sunday. Sept 5	South African Wines from A&B Imports, 5-8pm. $10
Friday	A set of 8 wines from the hand-picked wines of the A&B catalog will be featured tonight including Cabernet, Syrah, Pinotage, Chardonnay and more. Special Guest Rob Katsuno from Ameriprise will host a special pour of a top-tier release!

Sept 10	Wine 101, 7-9:30pm. $35
Wednesday	A special off-site edition of our popular wine class! Held at Officer's Row in Hamilton Hall, hosted by the Columbia Willamette Enological Society. Our starting class in wine enjoyment teaches how to taste wines, gives you a wine vocabulary to describe flavors, shows the basics of food pairing and how to properly serve wines with the proper glassware & temperature! Reservations required. Contact CWES for reservations.

Sept 12	Winery Challenge #1! 5-8pm. $10
Friday	We've invited the owners of Basalt Cellars and David Hill Winery to face off in a challenge to see whose wines are the favorite of the night!

Sept 19	French Wines 5-8pm. $10
Friday	7 Wines featured for $10.

Sept 26	Napa $10 & $20 5-8pm. $10 and/or $20
Friday	Two flights of 7 wines. Your choice! $10, $20 or both!

Sept 27	Wine 201, 7-9:30pm. $35
Saturday	Our Wine 201 class shows off the complexity and art form that is winemaking. Sample through 8 different grape varieties and learn what makes each major grape unique including their flavors, history, and reasons for becoming popular! Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling whites, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel and Syrah for the reds. Topics covered include the importance of the barrels, DNA Clones, geographic success, marketing methods and much more. You'll leave with a new appreciation for wine's depth and presence. Limited to 18 guests. Reservations required.


	Reservation Policy

Reservations for our public events can be made in person, via e-mail, or by calling us. Visit our Contact Us page for names, numbers & addresses for the two locations this website serves.

Due to the private and limited space offered by Salut! Wine Co. for special events, and to ensure the proper foods and wines are prepared for each individual guest, we take reservations for all sit-down events, and ask for prepayment for these reservations up to a month ahead of the event.

Unpaid reservations are accepted, but payment is required to continue holding seats when/if the event is sold to capacity. In the event we are unable to contact you for payment when an event reaches capacity, the requested seat(s) will be forfeited to any guests on a waiting list able to pre-pay for their reservation.

Reservations can be canceled at any time at least 48 hours prior to the event for full refund. Reservations canceled before the day of the event will be refunded 50% of the purchased price. Refunds are not available when reservations are canceled the day of the event or if you are unable to attend without notice.
